O’Neill’s Sophisticating the laid-back, casual atmosphere of a course restaurant, Chef Jeff Platt – from Roy’s, Tabu, and Napa Rose fame – has infused the upscale with the serene at O’Neill’s Bar & Grill. O’Neill’s is a full-service restaurant that serves the well-heeled with as much admiration as it’s frequent post-round diners. Platt achieves “high-quality food that has an elegant presentation, yet still has the ranch feel of the club.” Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club recently constructed a garden for Platt, enabling the chef to create “garden to the table” freshness. With views spanning from the 18th hole of Arroyo Trabuco Golf Course to the natural reserve of Rancho Mission Viejo and Trabuco Creek, the placid and rejuvenating atmosphere is a perfect setting for Platt’s fresh, often local and organic, cuisine.

O’Neill’s features breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices, ranging from French Toast ladled with fresh strawberries to herb rubbed double Lamb Chops (see menu at left). The Bar Lounge area features a full service bar, including O’Neill’s own draft lager, and flat-screen HD televisions.
